Here’s their top tips on how many pilates classes per week you should be doing...

ANY AMOUNT OF PILATES IS A GOOD AMOUNT

In even 10 minutes a day, Pilates can help you tone your muscles and improve your posture. Many people think that an effective workout need’s at least 60-90 minutes of daily practice to see results. However, recent studies have shown that shorter workouts are just as effective as longer ones if they’re done on a regular basis. So whether your schedule allows for one 20 min class per week or you can stay consistent with five classes per week, you will notice positive effects on the body and mind by forming your consistent ritual.

CONSISTENCY IS KEY

It’s important to note that in order for Pilates to give you real results, it takes consistency. Don’t just show up for class one day, and then skip for three weeks. Real success comes from consistency—so make a plan and stick with it!  One way to ensure consistent practice is by building in accountability: set a schedule (maybe once or twice per week), tell your friends and family so they can hold you accountable (and cheer on your successes!), or schedule online reminders. Regardless of which option(s) you choose, don’t underestimate the power of reminding yourself what your goals are!
